Current Series – Anxiety Monster

Sometimes we think of Anxiety as something that some people have and other people don’t have, but anxiety is something we all carry with us. We just carry it at different levels. For some of us it is barely noticeable, yet for others it is crippling. The goal is not for us to get rid of our anxiety; the goal is for us to put our anxiety in its proper place. It’s like we all have this pet anxiety monster that we carry with us everywhere we go. It starts out small and manageable, but it can quickly grow into something that causes a lot of trouble in our lives. In this series we will talk about what types of things our pet anxiety monster feeds on, and how we can put it on a diet.

This week’s bottom line: Anxiety Feeds on Control. Will we try to control our lives, or open our lives to God?

Car Ride Home Questions: Here are some ideas to hopefully help you have some awesome conversations with your kid(s):

  1. Does it every feel like your anxiety gets out of control?

  2. What is the hardest thing for you to release control of and trust God with?

Snow Camp

We are so excited for our annual Snow Camp. This weekend away has proven to be a catalyst to relational growth within our small groups, and an important event in the faith journey of many students. Again this year we will be at Spring Hill Camps in Evart, MI from January 3-5. This is for both Middle and High School Students. Cost is $160 (busing provided and required). Space is LIMITED!

Visit our events page for all the info and to start the registration process!

Bring Your Bibles!

We would love for students to bring their Bibles to Lifeline this year! We are hoping this helps students become more familiar with the habit of opening up and reading from their Bible; it will also help them more easily follow along with the teaching at Lifeline!
