Serve GR is a local serving opportunity for middle and high school students. Students will have the opportunity to go to different non profit organizations in the area to learn about what they do and who they help in our very own city and get a chance to help that organization. Students will get to experience the dorm life by staying overnight at Calvin University! This trip is a lot of fun, but a lot of work as well, and provides experiences for students to serve our city through word and deed.
All spots on the trip have been filled! Thank you for all the interest!

For the past couple of years, Lifeline has been attempting to expose students to the need that exists right here in Grand Rapids, while giving students a peek into dozens of local organizations who are helping meet those needs in our very own city. We hope that each student going on this trip would leave understanding the needs around them and how God may use their gifts to bless others.

During our times of teaching, we are going to unpack Ada’s mission or vision around serving; that we are all Created, Called, and Gifted to serve! So each night, we will look at one of these works and how it relates to serving.

Our hope for this trip is that students can fully immerse themselves in the work and people whom they are serving! We are asking that all students leave their phones at home for the duration of the trip. A few years back we made this trip a no-phone trip and were glad we did.
Staff and Leaders will have their phones and be with students during work projects. We will provide contact information to all staff so you have our information as well. Thank you in advance!
