Updates on this week’s Lifeline, resources, and tools for you as you lead your students
High School
As we end the year, this week we are looking back on the Lifeline year. We have learned a lot about what it means to build our faith on a firm foundation. We will be discussing the Parable of the sower to discover what kind of soil represents our faith lives. If we are going to proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, how can we make sure our faith withstands trials and yields fruit? There will be an open mic time for students to share.
Middle School
As we end the year, this week we are looking back on the Lifeline year. We have learned a lot about what it means to walk like Jesus. If we are going to proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, how can we begin to live our lives in a way that reflects his character? There will be a time for students to reflect as well as open mic time for them to share.
Resources & Tools
These are starting questions to help you guide small group conversations. These questions are created especially for our relationship series so that you can feel confident owning your small group time! This guide also includes terminology and strategies for turning the conversation.
Do you not know exactly how to redirect your students or lay down the law during Small Group time? We are here to help! Whether you are in middle or high school, your students may need a reminder that you are their leader and there are rules at Lifeline.
There are many crises a student can go through. As their Lifeline leader, you may be one of the first people to know. It is easy to feel intimidated or scared and you want to make sure you say the right thing and know what to do. That is where we are here to help and support you!
Committing to lead students or leaders is a big deal. You are not only a facilitator of discussion, you are an example to others in how you live your life and follow through on your commitments!
As a leader or coach in Lifeline, our students will be looking to you as a role model in how you live as a follower of Jesus. You have a significant opportunity to help students ground their identity in Christ by how you ground your own identity in Christ– not just on Wednesdays or Sundays, but with your whole life.
