What we’re learning this week:
We see this story in Acts when the disciples Peter and John perform a miracle and get negative attention from the religious leaders. Peter shows great courage when told to stop healing and preaching, declaring that he cannot stop sharing the Good News of Jesus. They refuse to disobey God’s command to make disciples of all the nations. Each of us has a story about Jesus that needs to be shared with others, so that all people can know of Jesus’ great love.
Bottom Line: Sharing the Good News of Jesus takes courage
Scripture: Acts 3:1-9, 4:7-12
Small Group Time:
Does anyone have a story about a time they were able to talk with someone about Jesus?
What part of the story stood out to you most tonight?
Where or with whom do you feel most challenged to share your faith?
Who is one person in your life who you want to share the Good News of Jesus with?
Take some time to practice sharing the 3 circles that they just learned!
