What we’re learning this week:
At Lifeline tonight we are going to talk about the interaction Saul has with Jesus on the road to Damascus. Saul was fully against Jesus and his followers, persecuting them and hunting them down. On the road to Damascus Jesus met him, and despite what he had done Jesus invited him to be a part of his family and to become an important part of the early church family. We want students to see how if that was true for Saul, then it’s true for them. That God wants to meet them, despite their past or what they’ve done.
We’ll also preview a little bit of our conversation next week of how this is true not just of us, but others as well. God is inviting you into his family, but he’s also inviting others in as well!
Bottom Line: God wants to meet you. Even you
Scripture: Acts 9:1-8; 13-15
Car ride home questions:
What’s one thing from today’s conversation about Paul’s interaction with Jesus that really stuck with you?
If you could take one step this week to follow Jesus more closely, what would it be?
