The Gospel of John
What we know about John:
Jesus gives John and his brother James the nickname, “Sons of Thunder” (Mark 3:17) The Bible doesn’t tell us where this nickname comes from, but it could refer to their speech, tempers, or ambition
John was one of the three disciples that Jesus keeps closest (in addition to Peter and James)
John was a fisherman by trade before being called by Jesus to follow Him.
Before Jesus died on the cross, He asked John to take care of His mother, Mary (John 19:26-27)
John wrote more of the New Testament than any other member of Jesus’ twelve disciples. He wrote John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Revelation

In this reading plan, you will read through the gospel of John in 2 days and then go back through your notes, highlights, and thoughts on day three! It’s OK to read quickly and highlight what stands out to you! Day three is for going back and thoughtfully consider what you highlighted!
Day 1: John 1-10 (60 minutes)
Day 2: John 11-21 (60 minutes)
Day 3: Notes Review + Journal Time (60 Minutes)
