High School Snow Camp

Date: January 2-4
Location: SpringHill Camp - Evart, MI

Snow Camp is our annual winter retreat for all of Lifeline. This year, we will have an exclusive weekend retreat experience for just our High School students!

We will be returning to SpringHill camps for another amazing weekend filled with fun, tubing, worship, teaching, small group conversations and more.

This is an event that we bus students from Grand Rapids up to camp and back, so drop-off and pick-up will be here locally.

We are so excited to be together with all our campuses and to grow in our relationships with the Lifeline community and in our faith.

Student registration has closed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Students need to arrive at 6:00 PM to their designated Ada Bible Campus. Students who attend Lifeline at Cascade or Kentwood will be departing from the Cascade Campus. Students who attend Lifeline at Bella Vista, East Paris or Knapp Street will be departing from the Knapp Street Campus. Your student should eat dinner before arriving. They will be provided a light snack Friday night. We will leave promptly as soon as everyone arrives, with the hope to depart by 6:30 PM.

  • Students and leaders will check-in and leave from either the Cascade (if they attend Lifeline at Cascade or Kentwood) or Knapp Street (if they attend Lifeline at Bella Vista, East Paris or Knapp Street) campuses of Ada Bible Church. Students will arrive, check in on an iPad, get a nametag, and will board their designated bus.

  • We intend to be back to the designated campuses by 1:15 PM on Sunday. There are a few factors including the weather, when we leave camp, and which location the bus is going to.

  • A complete packing list will be sent via email to those registered. Warm clothes (hats, gloves, coats) are a must as students will be walking to and from their cabins to session and meals as well as snow tubing and games outside.

  • Many cabins have a bath house next to the cabins but no bathrooms IN them. Only a few have bathrooms in the cabin itself.

  • There are a mix of activities, some are provided by SpringHill and some are provided by Lifeline.  Activities include;

    • Tubing Hill

    • Climbing wall

    • Octoball, Basketball, Volleyball, 9 square

    • Board games, Ping Pong, Billiards, Arcade

    • Indoor Swimming Pool

    • Ice Skating

    • Door Decorating - This is a contest to decorate your cabin door.

    • Duck Hunt - Find ducks around camp and turn them in during meal times for prizes!

    • Broomball & Volleyball Tournaments

    • Dodgeball

    • Mini Golf

  • Students may bring money if they wish to purchase anything from the SpringHill store (Trading Post), Snack Shack, or coffee shop. We will not be participating in activities that cost extra money as we want to focus on keeping small groups together during the weekend.

  • We allow phones, but not during sessions and small group time. If a phone becomes an issue, we will hold onto that student’s phone until we get back to campus.

  • We know life happens. If your student cannot attend Snow Camp, please let us know by December 15. If you let us know by this date, we can provide a full refund. Any drops after December 15 are non-refundable.

  • Our Med Team will have all of this information and Lifeline Staff will do our best to track down when students need their medication. Students are allowed to hold onto their meds if their parents agree to that during registration. We will provide leaders with appropriate medical information regarding their students so they can also keep track.

For any food allergies, there is a special request food window in the Dining Hall that can be accessed during each meal. SpringHill does a wonderful job of providing options for students. All information that was sent in registration will be provided to SpringHill to ensure everyone will have what they need at each meal.

  • There will be medical volunteers onsite, staying at camp 24/7 to oversee and assist in providing medication to students in need. In any emergency, 911 will be called. For any non-emergent issues, our medical team will assess and call parents to pick up your student if they are ill. We will always allow for students to reach out to parents in any event to discuss and make the decision to leave camp.
