Frequently Asked Questions

  • Students need to arrive at 6:30 PM to their designated Ada Bible Campus. We will be communicating separately to those registered which Ada Bible Campus they’ll meet at. Your student should eat dinner before arriving. They will be provided a snack Friday night. We will leave promptly as soon as everyone arrives, with the hope to depart by, or before, 7:30 PM.

  • Students and leaders will check-in and leave from a designated campus of Ada Bible Church. Students will arrive, check in on an iPad, get a nametag, and will be directed to the bus they will be riding.

  • We intend to be back to their designated campus by 1:30 PM on Sunday. There are a few factors including the weather, when we leave camp, and which location the bus is going to since they are all going to different campuses.

  • As you know the date for Middle School Snow Camp is the biggest change! Behind the scenes we are partnering with SpringHill and attending their Winter Teens retreat as one big group, and we’ll get to experience camp with another student ministry from Indiana that will be joining us. SpringHill will be organizing all the activities, scheduling and programming on stage, and we as Lifeline will be providing the speaker and worship band for the weekend. Students will still be spending their time with their small group and small group leader from Lifeline. So this weekend, while different behind the scenes, will still feel very familiar to your student(s)!

  • A complete packing list will be sent via email to those that have registered. Warm clothes (hats, gloves, coats) are a must as students will be walking to and from their cabins to session and meals as well as snow tubing and games outside.

  • Many cabins have a bath house next to the cabins but no bathrooms IN them. Only a few have bathrooms in the cabin itself.

  • Our Med Team will have all of this information and Lifeline Staff will do our best to track down when students need their medication. Students are allowed to hold onto their meds if their parents agree to that during registration. We will provide leaders with appropriate medical information regarding their students so they can also keep track.

For any food allergies, there is a special request food window in the Dining Hall that can be accessed during each meal. SpringHill does a wonderful job of providing options for students. All information that was sent in registration will be provided to SpringHill to ensure everyone will have what they need at each meal.

  • There will be medical volunteers onsite, staying at camp 24/7 to oversee and assist in providing medication to students in need. In any emergency, 911 will be called. For any non-emergent issues, our medical team will assess and call parents to pick up your student if they are ill. We will always allow for students to reach out to parents in any event to discuss and make the decision to leave camp.
