April 15
What we’re learning this week:
Tonight we will learn how to share our faith by observing one of the greatest to ever do it: Paul! In Acts 13, Paul stands up in the synagogue and clearly explains the story of God from Moses to Jesus. In observing Paul’s tactics, we will see that Paul models evangelism in three ways: He knows the Word, he knows the people, and he knows the worth of Jesus. Students will be encouraged to embrace these things as they look to share the good news of Jesus to others.
Bottom Line: Know the word. Know the people. Know the worth of Jesus.
Scripture: Acts 13:16-32,38-39,52
Small Group Time:
Know the word: How often do you read your Bible? Do you pick a verse, follow a reading plan, or just kind of read randomly?
Know the people: What is one question you could ask someone this week that digs beneath the surface and helps you get to know their heart?
Know the value of Jesus: Would you say your relationship with Jesus helps you during hard times? Explain.
If you had to pick someone to share Jesus with over the next 48 hours, who would you choose?
Part 2: Which of these three things would make it hardest to share Jesus with that person?
You don’t know the words to say
You don’t know the person well enough
You don’t know how to make following Jesus sound important.
