December 13 - Middle School

What we’re learning this week:

It’s Christmas time! And we are excited to not only celebrate the season with a night of fun, but also with a night of focus; focus on the one who brought hope, joy, love, and peace when he arrived: Jesus! When we see the response of the shepherds, we will be reminded to witness Jesus’ involvement in our lives and tell others about Him as well.

Bottom Line: Come and see. Go and tell.

Scripture: Luke 2:8-20

Small Group Discussion

Work through 2-4 of the discussion questions, share prayer requests and close time in prayer.

  1. What did you think of the practice we ended our teaching time with tonight? How did it feel to share about the goodness of God with those around you?

  2. Is there anyone in your life who you think needs an extra reminder of the goodness of God during this season? How can you remind them of God’s goodness?

  3. If you had to choose to share one God story from your own life, what would you share?

  4. What is one prayer request you have as we enter into Christmas break?

*Leader, consider pairing up students and have them pray for each other as they head into our Christmas break
