What we’re learning this week:

Tonight we’ll be wrapping up our Ephesians series, “Blueprints,” by diving into Chapter 6. In this chapter, Paul makes it clear that believers are in a spiritual battle—but he also gives us the strategy for how to stand strong in it. He reminds us to know and live out the truth: that even in the middle of our battles, we already have victory in Christ.

Bottom Line: Know Truth; Live Truth
Scripture:
Ephesians 6:10-18

Small Group Time:

  • Do you ever feel like your faith is a battle? What kinds of things make it feel that way?

  • When life feels like a fight, what helps you keep trusting God instead of giving up?

  • How can we, as a small group, support and encourage each other when we’re facing those battles?

  • What are some ways you can grow in knowing God’s truth and actually living it out day to day?

Next Week:

Next week we will start a brand-new series, “Good News” where we will open the book of Romans. will see that Paul reminds both the Jewish and Gentile believers that no one is righteous on their own, i.e. everyone has fallen short of God’s standard. But through faith in Jesus, not by our own efforts, we’re made right with God and given a new kind of life that rests in His grace, not our performance.
