September 10 - High School

What we’re learning this week:

There’s a lot to love about Lifeline: The fun, the friends, the candy, the music, and so much more! With all these great things happening at Lifeline, the big question for new students and returning students is this: Why do I come to Lifeline?

During this first teaching of the year, we will explore the Psalms to vision our students that when we worship God for who He is, He shows His delight in us and changes us forever!

Bottom Line: Worship is our why

Scripture: Psalm 147:7-11

Small Group Discussion

Work through some of these small group questions, invite the group to share prayer requests, and then have someone pray to close your time.

  1. What are you most looking forward to in this year of Lifeline?

  2. What is one way you have seen God’s power and/or care this summer?

  3. What ways can you worship (show respect, love, and attention) God at Lifeline on a Wednesday night?

  4. Do you have any stories of when you experienced God’s delight or His presence? Share it in group!

  5. Ask someone to pray for the group— that each of you would make worship your “why” this year at Lifeline.
