Tonight, we are addressing the question “why” by talking about the gift of singleness. In 1 Corinthians 7, Paul makes it quite clear that the life of a single person can be more fully devoted to the Lord than those who are married. Often, we view singleness as the gift no one wants to be stuck with, but the Bible explains it as a powerful gift of God. We’ll be explaining to students why singleness is a gift and how to use it properly.

Read MoreLifeline is not meeting at Campuses this Sunday! Our students and volunteers are taking the week schedule their own gathering and hangout as a chance to break away from the familiar space of our buildings and do something special together as a group.

By looking at a hard teaching out of Philippians 2, we will see how the commands of the Bible are always perfectly fulfilled in Christ. We’ll walk through the ways we can allow the Bible move us toward being more like Jesus and how our “work” is really God working through us.

As we begin our January Series called “Bible Study”, we start with a big question: What can the Bible do? What is the Bible supposed to do in the life of a believer? Why is it so important that we read it to grow? Students will be reminded of the power of God’s Word and encouraged to build a habit of reading it!

Read MoreAs we close out 2025 we’re going to look at three reasons Jesus came to earth. First, Jesus came to speak. Not only share words of wisdom, but to speak the very words of God, words which God expects us to follow! Second, Jesus came to show that there was nothing too humiliating for him to come close to us. He was willing to show how low he was willing to get – he wanted to show us how unashamed he was by his love for us. And lastly, Jesus came to save. Whether it’s dishonesty, envy, gossip, or addiction, we have all fallen short of the glory of God – that's just the reality of being human. We needed saving AND God needed to become man to save us by cleansing us from our sin.

This week, we explore the power of living as a follower of Christ in a world that goes its own way. Students will be reminded of the reality that their obedience to Christ and refusal to be influenced by culture can be their most powerful testimony!
