February 25
What we’re learning this week:
This week, Luke will explore answers to the question: Why do I keep sinning? Many students struggle with the same reality that Paul processes: We love Jesus and want to do what is right, yet we choose sin! Luke will remind students that…
They have a sin nature.
They can experience glimpses of freedom in their walk with Christ.
They will experience ultimate freedom in eternity.
They should not confuse their struggle for their standing.
Bottom Line: Don’t confuse your struggle for your standing.
Scripture: Romans 7:15-25
Car ride home questions:
How can we make our home more about God’s grace and less about being afraid to admit you struggle?
When was a time you felt like God helped you overcome sin or temptation?
