January 21

What we’re learning this week:

We see this story in Acts when the disciples Peter and John perform a miracle and get negative attention from the religious leaders. Peter shows great courage when told to stop healing and preaching, declaring that he cannot stop sharing the Good News of Jesus. They refuse to disobey God’s command to make disciples of all the nations. Each of us has a story about Jesus that needs to be shared with others, so that all people can know of Jesus’ great love.

Bottom Line: Sharing the Good News of Jesus takes courage
Scripture:
Acts 3:1-9, 4:7-12

Car ride home questions:

  1. Is there anything you feel confused or nervous about when it comes to sharing the Good News of Jesus with others?

  2. Do you understand why it’s important for us to share the Gospel with others?

  3. Is there a story you want to share with someone about what Jesus means to you?

  4. Is there a step you want to take to be bolder in sharing your faith that I can help you with?
