May 18 - High School

What we’re learning this week:

As we end the year, this week we are looking back on the Lifeline year. We have learned a lot about what it means to build our faith on a firm foundation. We will be discussing the Parable of the sower to discover what kind of soil represents our faith lives. If we are going to proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, how can we make sure our faith withstands trials and yields fruit? There will be an open mic time for students to share.

Bottom Line:  God’s word equips you to plant seeds that will yield fruit.
Scripture: Matthew 13:1-23

Small Group Time:

Since this is the last night of Lifeline, celebrate! Use this final small group to reflect on the year, and plan for the summer. This time is yours, so feel free to spend it as you wish.

  1. What changes do we need to make in our life in order to plant seeds in ‘good soil’ instead of ‘rocky soil’?

  2. What is your favorite memory from Lifeline this year?

  3. How can we as a group be helping each other grow this summer?

  4. What is a scripture verse we can memorize together this summer?

  5. How can we pray for each other in this season of life?
