What we’re learning this week:
Have you ever come across a situation or season of life that caused you to ask God, “Where are you?” During this series, we will talk about the life circumstances that cause us to ask questions like this and explore the answers. We will learn that drawing near to in all times is what we were made to do.
As we begin this series, each campus has the chance to hear from a Lifeline student! Here are the topics that will be covered at each campus!
Cascade: Clara Frederickson – “Where is God when I’m trying to make a decision?”
East Paris: Greta Bernecker – “Where is God when I’m anxious”
Kentwood: Parker Dewyse – “Where is God when I’m worried?”
Knapp Street: Kendra Kuiper – “Where is God when I feel unworthy?”
Series Key Verse:
Psalm 10:1 (NIV) "Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?"
Small Group Discussion:
Have you ever been in a situation that caused you to ask, “Where is God?”
On a scale of 1 to 10, how comfortable are you being honest to God in your prayers?
3-5 - Questions 3-5 will be provided by the teacher on the final slide of tonight’s teaching! Be sure to take a photo of it with your phone.
