October 21
What we’re learning this week:
This week we are looking at the two moments where Jesus provides Peter with a miraculous catch!
We are going to look at the way Peter responds in the two stories! I think after spending a few years with Jesus, Peter starts to learn about who Jesus really is, as his response is quite different! It’s our hope that the way Peter responds in the second story can be an encouragement for all believers, to run to Jesus!
Bottom Line: Jesus wants you to run to him!
Scripture: John 21:4-7
Car ride home questions:
Why do you think someone might feel like God is disappointed in them? What would you tell a friend who felt that way?
When you mess up, do you tend to run toward Jesus or away from Him? What’s one thing you can remember about Jesus that might help you run toward Him instead?
