Read MoreAs we continue our Bad Role Models series, we are going to look at the ways the religious leader mistreated a woman who they caught in adultery. The woman caught in sin was invited to repent of her sins by embracing the mercy of Jesus and the religious leaders were invited to repent by recognizing their own sin. In this powerful story, we are reminded that Jesus’ mercy transforms us to living the life we are called to live and pointing others to Jesus instead of counting them out on receiving the mercy Jesus desires to give them.

So we are going to take a week to focus our attention on why serving is important and then take a week to serve the greater community through our partnership with hand to hand!

That plan of creating, calling, and gifting people to serve continues today as we see the people in our lives who need help! During this teaching, we will look at these three powerful truths about serving others and be reminded that the lifestyle of serving others that God calls us to and that Jesus modeled on earth is possible.

This will help the small group leader hear about how they are doing, where they are at in life and in faith, and how we as a ministry can help them grow! While leaders are meeting with their students, the other students will have an opportunity to connect with other HS students before/after their one on one time.
