Summer Break
Summer break is here!
Lifeline is on summer break! We are so thankful for the amazing year and the time we had together. While we are off for the summer we still encourage students to schedule something together so they can connect with their small group as those fun hangouts can create great memories and build relationships. Also, in July we will have students and leaders serving internationally and locally on two Lifeline trips, so we ask for prayer over that time and the work that will be taking place!

Where do I fit in? This is a big question that everyone wrestles with and if we are not careful, we can allow our desire to fit in to lead us to making decisions that we regret. If the crowd around us often values the things that we should avoid, what other options do we have? We can find our true belonging in relationship with God and His church.

As we continue our Bad Role Models series, we are going to look at the ways the religious leader mistreated a woman who they caught in adultery. The woman caught in sin was invited to repent of her sins by embracing the mercy of Jesus and the religious leaders were invited to repent by recognizing their own sin. In this powerful story, we are reminded that Jesus’ mercy transforms us to living the life we are called to live and pointing others to Jesus instead of counting them out on receiving the mercy Jesus desires to give them.
