For students interested in reading the Bible but struggling with knowing where to start, the YouVersion Bible app is the perfect catalyst. YouVersion contains multiple translations of the Bible, several topical Bible reading plans, a verse of the day, options to read with friends or family, several audio Bibles, and more. This could be a great way to start reading the Bible with your kids, or to encourage them in their own devotional time.
The Whole Sex Talk™ is a Biblically-based, six-session multimedia program that empowers parents to have healthy, ongoing conversations with their kids about love, sex, and relationships. Created by the Pregnancy Resource Center of Grand Rapids – and based on years of teaching a similar program in schools and churches throughout West Michigan – this program can be used individually, as a couple, with your kids, or in a small group setting. The program includes six sessions on three DVDs that utilize short films, brutally honest parent and teen testimonials, expert panel interviews and more.
“Parenting Your” Phase Guides consist of an series of concise and interactive guides that simplifies what parents need to know about each phase of a kids life and gives them the opportunity to discover more about their children—so they can make the most of every phase.

If your student has never checked out the I Am Second videos, head to the I Am Second website and check some out together. Each video is a short story from the life of an often well-known Christian who has struggled through or with something and, by the grace of God, come out on the other side. Topics include eating disorders, divorce, grief, pride, self-esteem and more.
Every week, Christian parenting organization Axis sends out an email about current cultural trends that concern our teens. Lifeline has been trying out Axis’ weekly Culture Translator emails for the last few months, and we can say with confidence that Axis is doing a great job of equipping parents with information and conversation starters.
