December 15 - High School

What we’re learning this week:

Merry Christmas to all! As we take an evening to focus on Christmas together as one High School Lifeline community, we will have the opportunity to hear from lifeline students about how God has spoken hope and joy into their story in the midst of difficulty. Students will be challenged to not give up on the God who speaks into the silence.

Bottom Line:  Out of the silence, God speaks.
Scripture:  Luke 2:8-12

Small Group Time:

Last small group for a few weeks as we prepare for Christmas break and snow camp! Below are a few questions to utilize: two are related to the teaching and two are fun last-night-of-lifeline related!

  1. Is there a difficult circumstance that you had to trust God through? Share it with the group.

  2. As we near the end of 2024, what is one thing you want to ask God to work in throughout the next year? Be specific.

  3. Finish this sentence… 2024 was the year that I ______.

  4. How would you like our small group to take things to the next level during the second semester of Lifeline after break? (Leader: take notes of what students say!)

Next week preview:

We are off for Christmas break! We’re looking forward to Snow Camp and a great January of Lifeline! Our next Sunday night event will be a worship night at East Paris on January 12!
