May 4 - High School

What we’re learning this week:

This week we continue our final series of the school year, How to Save the World by getting practical about sharing our faith. Many of us assume the people around us have heard about Jesus, but the truth is, unless someone tells them, they may never really know. We’ll discuss the two big reasons we don’t share our faith: fear of rejection and feeling unprepared. The good news? We already have what we need—our own story of what Jesus has done for us. We’ll end tonight by practicing how to share that story clearly and confidently.

Bottom Line:  You have a story worth sharing—and the world needs to hear it.
Scripture: Romans 10:9-15

Small Group Time:

This week is a discussion night! This means that the teaching discussion will happen as we go through the content in the room! Here are the questions we will discuss!

  1. Break #1

    1. Have someone read Romans 10:9-15 in your circle.

    2. Discuss: When did you first hear about Jesus? Who told you?

    Break #2

What has stopped you from sharing about Jesus? What truth can you use to combat that lie?

    Break #3

Activity - Write out your 15 second testimony and share it!

Next week preview:

Next week is our final week of High school Lifeline for the year! We will be celebrating the year with a time of reflection, sharing in small group, and open mic share recounting God’s faithfulness in a great year of HIgh school Lifeline!
