September 21
What we’re learning this week:
We begin a new series titled “Devoted” and we will be focusing on fellowship. We will talk about how the early church practiced fellowship and have an opportunity to engage in it as a group in real time as we eat a meal and enjoy conversation!
Bottom Line: Disciples are devoted to breaking bread
Scripture: Acts 2:42-47
Small Group Time:
Tonight we’ll be hearing the teaching and discussing as a small group over dinner. Staff will guide you though this time but here’s a preview of the discussion questions:
Section 1
When your family is together, what do you typically do? What are some rituals you have?
If new, what is your name and what school do you go to?
Section 2
What part of your life have you not surrendered to God yet?
Why? What’s holding you back?
What is God teaching you about Himself – how has this brought you peace?
How did he teach you that?
Pray for the person on your left.
Section 3
Start fellowship on your own!!
Write out questions you could use this week to start fellowship conversations.
Next week preview:
We will continue our series, Devoted. The focus will be on a life of prayer and how Jesus taught us to combat worry. Matthew 6:25-34
