What we’re learning this week:

Jesus provides us with an outline for how He sees the world and leads him to defeat everyday worries. This process is prayer. A life interwoven and covered with prayer that views life beyond everyday trivial worry and into a life that seeks first the Kingdom and God’s righteousness!

Bottom Line: Prayer puts our thoughts on more

Small Group Time:

Share a personal experience you have had with God by looking around you and attributing it to him.

Remind your students about being at church next Sunday morning to be in the student section.

  1. What are some habits you have when you’re feeling worried or stressed?

  2. What are ways you get your eyes off your screens?

  3. Have you ever had a moment in nature that showed you something about God?

  4. What is one way you are going to “look at the birds” this week?

  5. How was this teaching about prayer? What does that tell us about the process of prayer?

Next week we will be looking at how the early church was devoted to the apostles teachings. We will look at what the apostles’ teachings were and how we can devote our lives to Scripture today.
