April 28 - High School

What we’re doing this week:

Tonight is our panel night! During teaching time, we will go through questions that are often asked by high school students about love, relationships, and sexuality. We have prayerfully considered which questions to tackle and want to give our students Biblically-informed wisdom to help them navigate life as a middle school student!

Here is the list of questions we will be going through:

  • What is the purpose of dating? When should I start dating? Who should I date?

  • What do I do if I am attracted to the same sex?

  • How do I overcome insecurity? (Rejection/Self-Image)

  • What do I do if I feel pressured to do something I don’t think is right?

  • What should I do if I have looked at pornography?

  • How far is too far physically?

Small Group Time:

Go over the questions, take note of any individual follow-ups that may need to take place based on what people say! Be sure to end by praying together.

  • We just heard a lot of good wisdom! What is one thing you want to remember from tonight’s conversation?

  • What could we do as a small group to be comfortable enough to talk about the questions we have as a group

  • Are there any commitments you need to make or conversations you need to have as a result of the things we discussed tonight?
