November 3 - High School

What we’re learning this week:

We will be hearing from 3 leaders at each campus as they answer questions about relationships, sexuality, and following Jesus. They will be tackling topics like God’s grace, God’s calling in our lives, and how we should view relationships as Jesus followers.

Bottom Line:  God’s pattern of living is different from the world’s, but His way is worth it and transformative.
Scripture: Romans 12:2

Small Group Time:

We heard from a variety of voices tonight, so be sure to remember what the students specifically took away in order to encourage the leaders who spoke!

  1.  What stuck out to you tonight? Which story did you resonate with?

  2. What did you learn about God’s grace tonight?

  3.  Are there things that are normal and accepted in your school that you feel like isn’t God’s way of doing things?

  4.  What is some advice that you would give to your Middle-School self? Why?

  5.  What have you learned from your parents’ relationship?

  6.  Why is God’s way “not normal’?

Next week preview:

Next week we are continuing our “Not Normal” series. We are going to walk through Paul’s letter to Timothy during our discussion night. We will unpack what it means to be a light in our relationships, and how we can bring that light to the darkness we see in the world.
