We see this story in Acts when the disciples Peter and John perform a miracle and get negative attention from the religious leaders. Peter shows great courage when told to stop healing and preaching, declaring that he cannot stop sharing the Good News of Jesus. They refuse to disobey God’s command to make disciples of all the nations. Each of us has a story about Jesus that needs to be shared with others, so that all people can know of Jesus’ great love.
Read MoreThis week, we focus on reading the Bible in a way that lets it change us. By looking at a hard teaching out of Philippians 2, we will see how the commands of the Bible are always perfectly fulfilled in Christ. We’ll walk through the ways we can allow the Bible move us toward being more like Jesus and how our “work” is really God working through us.
Read MoreThis week's teaching focuses on why and how we pray. We pray to connect with God. God doesn’t care if we use the right words or have the proper format, He just wants us to talk with Him to grow in our relationship with Him.
Read MoreAs we begin our January Series called “Bible Study”, we start with a big question: What can the Bible do? What is the Bible supposed to do in the life of a believer? Why is it so important that we read it to grow? Students will be reminded of the power of God’s Word and encouraged to build a habit of reading it!
Read MoreLifeline will be off for Christmas and New years and we will resume our weekly programing on January 11/14. You can view our calendar here if you’d like to see what the second semester looks like for us.
We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus our redeemer!
Read MoreAs we close out 2025 we’re going to look at three reasons Jesus came to earth. First, Jesus came to speak. Not only share words of wisdom, but to speak the very words of God, words which God expects us to follow! Second, Jesus came to show that there was nothing too humiliating for him to come close to us. He was willing to show how low he was willing to get – he wanted to show us how unashamed he was by his love for us. And lastly, Jesus came to save. Whether it’s dishonesty, envy, gossip, or addiction, we have all fallen short of the glory of God – that's just the reality of being human. We needed saving AND God needed to become man to save us by cleansing us from our sin.
Read MoreTonight Students will get an opportunity to share about their life with their leader and have the opportunity to be prayed over as they enter into the Christmas season and a new year! Students will be encouraged about how Jesus is the answer to everything that they cry out about and how they can go to him in every season of their life.
Read MoreTonight we will see that Romans 10:9–15 shows that salvation is simple to receive; that is to believe in your heart, confess Jesus as Lord, and the best part is that it's available to everyone! Also, once we’ve received that hope, God calls us to share it so others can hear and believe as well. God chooses to work through ordinary people, like us, to share Christ to the world.
Read MoreThis week is our “Prayer Night”. We will be walking through various different times of prayer and spiritual practices. When we slow down and turn our attention to people and things outside of ourselves, we are better able to see God’s glory and praise him through our time of prayer.
Read MoreIn life, there’s a lot you can’t control, but your mindset is something you can. Romans 8 teaches that your mind is always leading you somewhere: either toward the flesh or toward the Spirit and life. God’s goal isn’t just to change what you do, but who you become; to make you look more like Jesus. We want to help students begin to choose to fix their minds on Christ, letting His Spirit shape their thoughts, peace, and direction.
Read MoreMany people may feel a desire deep within them to change the world around them for the Gospel, but how do we actually do that in our everyday lives? This week, we explore the power of living as a follower of Christ in a world that goes its own way. Students will be reminded of the reality that their obedience to Christ and refusal to be influenced by culture can be their most powerful testimony!
Read MoreTonight we will talk about how everyone faces hardship, and how we respond—whether we vent, stuff it, isolate, or distract—reveals where our hope truly rests. Paul writes to believers in Rome who were suffering deeply and reminds them that real hope isn’t just a feeling or a slogan like “Just trust God.” It’s something solid, anchored in two unshakable truths
